The story of Munn Enterprises is one of dedication, family, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. It began in 1981 with a vision and a strong foundation of experience. Mr. Everette Munn, a seasoned professional with 27 years in the outdoor advertising field, embarked on a new chapter, establishing Munn Steel Fabricators alongside his sons, Harold and Howard.
From humble beginnings in a modest 1,200 sq. ft. fabrication shop, armed with just one truck and trailer, the Munns set out to build a company rooted in quality craftsmanship and unwavering service. Their commitment quickly earned them a reputation for producing exceptional visual products, including signs, awnings, and canopies.
Five years later, in 1986, Munn Steel Fabricators was incorporated as Munn Enterprises, Inc., marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth. This transition solidified their commitment to expansion and solidified their presence in the industry.
Driven by a customer-centric approach, Munn Enterprises focused on building strong relationships with both local and national clients. This dedication to service, combined with the superior quality of their products, fueled a remarkable growth trajectory. The company’s reach expanded across the southeastern United States, serving clients in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia.
Today, Munn Enterprises stands as a testament to the enduring values instilled by its founder. From its initial small-scale operation, the company has evolved into a thriving enterprise headquartered in Hattiesburg, MS. Our state-of-the-art 70,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant, staffed by over 70 skilled employees, is a far cry from the original shop.
